1. These terms and conditions apply to any referral made by an individual (“you”) through the form listed on the webpage of All Work and Social Operations Limited t/a Department (“Department”) – departmentuk.com/refer-a-friend (a “Referral”). All Work and Social Operations Limited t/a Department is part of the Allied London group of companies (the “Allied London Group”).
2. You can refer any business to Department who you think would make a great addition to the Department community. A Referral cannot be made for any existing Department members and a Referral cannot be made retrospectively. A Referral will also not be applicable in instances where an existing Department member is renewing their membership or relocating to a different Department workspace.
3. A Referral can only be made to Department by completing the web form on the Department webpage listed above. You will need to provide your contact details and the relevant details of your Referral when completing the web form. Once you’ve submitted your Referral and it’s been received, we’ll send you an email confirming we’ve received your Referral. Referrals made to Department through any means of contact other than the web form will not be considered.
4. If you make a successful Referral, you will be eligible for a £750 reward (the “Reward”). To be a successful Referral, the business you refer must sign up to a membership for either a private studio or private office space (minimum 4-person occupancy) in a workspace operated by Department in either Manchester or Leeds. The Reward will be payable to you once the business you refer has:
- paid the deposit for their studio or space (to the extent a deposit is requested) and payment has been received by Department; and
- paid the first instalment of rent for the office studio or space and payment has been received by Department (discounting any rent-free periods at the commencement of occupation).
5. In exchange for a successful Referral, you will be given £750’s worth of vouchers for a retail outlet of your choosing. You will select the retail outlet from a list of approved partners that Department will send to you when it contacts you to notify you of the successful Referral. Department reserves the right at any time to change the list of approved partners or change the nature or value of the Reward.
6. Department will contact you by email using the contact details you previously provided to notify you once your Referral has been successful and you are eligible for the Reward.
7. Anyone can make a Referral, save for any agents working for Department or any employees of the Allied Group. You do not need to be a member of Department to make a Referral and a Referral will still be valid if you make a Referral as a Department member but are no longer a Department member at the point you are eligible to receive the Reward.
8. If you make a successful Referral as an existing Department member but you owe any arrears to Department at the time you would otherwise be eligible for the Reward, you will not receive the Reward until such time as any arrears are cleared.
9. Before accepting the Reward you should consider if the Reward will have any tax implications on you. Department takes no responsibility for any tax implications arising from you receiving a Reward.
10. If you haven’t heard from us for one week following submission of a Referral, you can contact us at info@departmentuk.com for more information. Please include the wording ‘Refer A Friend’ in the subject line of your email.
11. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time and the award of any Reward is entirely at Department’s discretion. This offer is subject to change.
